Concepcion Martinez Gutierrez - Shakti

Born in Madrid (Spain) in 1968, she earned a bachelor's degree in nursing and a degree in osteopathy.

Since 1992 she regularly travels to India, where she have been living for 3 years, spending a long time in Ashrams of meditation and yoga.
During her periods of residence there she learned and studied ayurvedic techniques of massage, specializing in ayurvedic-yoga massage, also known as orthopedic massage; from then every year she travels to India to study this technique with her teacher.

In the last years she extended her knowledge of ayurvedic medicine and clinical practice through trainings and cooperation with ayurvedic doctors, attending some schools like:

• Ayurvedic Nursing Home “Utkal Vaidyashala” with doctor N.C Dash – Puri
• Ayurvedic College “Tilak Ayurveda” with doctor Rajendra Huparikar – Poona
• Making practice in “Taranchal Hospital”, Panchakarma department - Poona.

She lives in Italy since 1997 where she practices ayurvedic-yoga massage in some ayurveda and yoga centers. She is the president of the Ayurvedic-Yoga Cultural Association.
From 1998 she teaches formation courses in ayurvedic-yoga massage in Italy and Spain. In the last years she developed a relationship of cooperation with ayurvedic doctors, centered on the clinical application of Panchakarma techniques.

She finished her training for japanese facil lifting massages and now offers this in her courses.
